Hi - can anyone help? I have a New Holland 6030 tractor ,2011, that the fuel guage does not work. I have replaced the sending unit , replaced the guage cluster-assembly - and still doesnt work. I should have checked the wiring first - right? Now I have ohmed the two wires going from sender to cluster assembly and they are good - I can ground the voltage wire from the sender to the guage and it does not move- it should peg the guage. Any ideas out there? Thank you .

Welcome from Wisconsin,try grounding it to the frame of the tractor.
Yes.....I did try grounding the sender itself to the frame and didnt do any good. The sender has a sensor ground in the 2-wire plug.......and the tank is plastic....as I see it the only thing the metal wrong on top the sending unit does is hold it to the tank. Also, it should peg the guage if I paper-clip across the wire-plug to the sending unit? Thanks.
