Just want to say thanks in advance for welcoming me and appreciate any insight you all can offer. I live in the Virginia Piedmont area along a small mountain range called the Southwest Mountains. My 66 acre property is quite hilly and can be quite steep much of the time. So a tractor with a solid wide base. low gearing, and good breaks are important to me. I have a 2002 4110 4x4 Mahindra with a loader. It's been a good tractor until recently. I just threw a rod and now looking at my next steps, whether fixing it or getting another tractor. I suspect if it's the latter, then I will have to downshift to something smaller due to $. I also own a Woods MD72 bushhog which maxed out the Mahindra when going up and down my hills. I might have to get something smaller. All the best...

Jake. Welcome! I'm right down the road "a piece" from you in Goochland Co. Have you got any idea why your 4110 threw the rod? Where did you buy your Mahindra...I got my '02 6000 up in Bealeton back when. Let us know what you're gonna do. If you weren't aware, there's a reasonably big Mahindra dealer (Cecil's) in Warrenton, right off the by-pass. Good luck. BobG in VA
