- 1973 JD 820 cyl diesel
Hello everone and Merry Christmas.
I just picked a 1973 JD 820 3 cyl. diesel Mannihen tractor that is in pretty good shape and runs great with a front 145 loader. I have restored 3 older JD's in the past, An "A", an "H" and an "L". that was almost 15 years ago. I now own a 1953 "40 T wide front end" that just died a lonley death due to a governer weight that came off and ate some gears and broke the block boss off the cyclinder.
The 820 need a clutch adjustment for the 2 stage to work properly, this is the only problem I have found on the tractor. I will include some pictures for those who want to see it. Hope to hear from you green lovers soon
