Thanks for reminding me to look at the link. They sure have a variety of useful products at reasonable prices.

I did notice one picture that demonstrates just how important it is to have the correct hose length on your FEL grapple. Look at the picture of the skid steer below with the tree round in the grapple. What do you think is about to happen if he curls the bucket down just a tiny bit more?

I'm going to guess the log falls to the ground.

Actually curling will relieve the strain on the hose. Any more dump however and he either busts the hose or if lucky just yanks the qc off.

Good point. Measure hoses with max dump but then also make sure there is a way to take up slack with max curl or hoses can get snagged. I use a bungee cord wrapped loosely around the middle of the two lines and tethered to the qc mounting plate.

The hoses need to be routed near the hinge pin at the back of the quick attach, so the length stay equal regardless of what position the tilt cylinders are in

We'll we are a day closer,

Got a e-mail that my Grapple will ship Friday, we'll get some better photos up when it comes in. I'm waiting for it to be here before I plan the HYD work.

The T2220 has to go into the shop for the hyd keeps leaking down with a load. Can't even drive 15' with a good size rock in the bucket and it's trying to lay down on the job.

Even with the bucket off it will flop unless I lock the joystick out.
