I made tailgate support wires for the cart. The bed was only 40" deep so I couldn't easily haul 2x4's in it. I drilled 1/8" holes, took my 130lb steel line, crimped loops on the end, stuck 1/8" steel rivets in, and riveted it in.

Now my bed is 47.5" deep, which still isn't deep enough to haul 2x4's. But I'm going to make something for the tailgate to make it a little taller. I want to embed eye loops flush in the bed itself so I can use ratchet straps to hold stuff down, but that's a different project.

Installed trusses in place in the chicken coop to hold up the top. The coons were sitting in the sagging areas pulling hte fence in and breaking the welds to try and gain entry.

Don't look to long, it's half-assed at best and I'll clean it up later.

Time to go back to the battery room.

Since the tax credit is ending at the end of the year, I decided I'll boost up my battery storage. I ordered another 45kwh of battery that I'll be assembling.

Ok so I ordered another full set of batteries. 96 cells for another 90kwh. That means I need to increase the size of the battery room. So I need to blow out that wall on the right.

My basement has a slab floor, and a floating slab on top of it. Except behind that wall, the floating slab bit is missing, so I formed up and poured enough for the room expansion.

It took exactly one 60lb bag of concrete, which is exactly what I have been tripping over in the garage for 3 months.

I drilled 4 holes and put nails in sticking out, so the new slab wouldn't move.

My hot water tank was delivered today. Which means I need to get the safe off the back porch, to reclaim my big dolly, so I can move it out of hte middle of my driveway.

To do that, I needed to move the safe to the shop. But the shop is full. Of hay. Because my hay shed has leaks which allows water to pool on hte bottom, ruining hte hay.

So I had to build a little floor so the hay wouldn't sit directly on the ground. then move the hay from the shop to the hay shed.
