Progress! I am beat, went up and down the scaffolding probably 15 times and it takes a lot out of me.

Got the steel roof cut and bent, fascia board on, and a good amount of siding. was pushing the limits on both daylight and my body, i'm not sure I could have gone up and down the scaffolding again safely. You'd think after 4 months sitting on my ass conserving energy, I'd have enough stored up!

Thanks, it was an afterthought after the siding was 6" to short. Mistakes happen.

I think you might appreciate the extra dry cover.

My old house had extra overhang in front of my garage doors and I really liked it. I could have the vehicle engine running outside and pop the hood in the driveway close to the garage and stay dry.

When I get around to building my shop, I'm going to have an awning over the doors too. That's really nice!!!

I have a 5ft overhang on the roof over the garage doors. Does really make it nice. Not having to remove snow away from the doors, most of the time. Jon

I had some osb delivered today and the moffet truck placed them on the 4ft concrete apron. When I tried to pick them up afterwards, I was afraid of the fork tips hitting the edge of the concrete. A 5ft apron would allowed some concrete to appear past the osb pile. Jon

I've always said if you move into your new building and don't find things you wish were done different you are extremely lucky!!!! :)
