New Camera - Tractor Shot

/ New Camera - Tractor Shot #41
Finally someone else with a camera like mine. I do like the DSC-D770 and am going to get the DSC-D707 for my father which is a 5.4 megapixel so that I can compare them. Sony has done a wonderful job with their cameras. I also have a Kyocera Yashica Micro Elite 3300 and it takes decent pics but is mainly a point and shoot with limited zoom and other features but it can take 15 sec movies which I have found no use for yet.

Mossroad,
I would save them in the format in which the camera saved them. Most newer cameras allow you a choice of two or three formats (tiff, jpeg, fpx, etc.). For saving photos that you plan on archiving I would take them and keep them in the .tiff format. I would also take them in the highest quality possible. You can always resize them, change their resolution, and convert them to a compressed format like .jpg later. I wasn't criticizing, but just trying to give a tip or two. I am no expert but I have spent a lot of time on my own dealing with digital images from cameras and scanners. Most people don't realize how much there is to know about this stuff, especially scanners.
