Kubota BX24
Hi all,
After lurking around for awhile I finally broke down and bought a new BX24. Just BH, loaded tires and FEL w/hook now but I do have a DR grader I used with my Husky that I will pull now with the BX. My road is about 1/4 mile long.
I already ordered skid plates and thumb from Bro-Tek before I get in the woods this summer to work on snomo trails. BX was delivered last Thursday and I have 11.5 hrs so far moving mountains of snow with 4 to 7" more due overnight- there's just no place to put it.
This thing is super fun to operate and I can see it will take time away from my other toys this summer.
I can see why you guys are hooked on these things.

After reading seemingly endless posts I think I'll take it easy even in the snow until I get my skid plates installed. Don't like $600 plastic fans.

My dealer loaded my rears (tires that is) with some kind of a molasses residual mix. Anyone know what that is?

I believe this is Rim -Guard and it is sugar beet molasses. Around 11 pounds per gallon and is completely non toxic and non corrosive. I have it in my tires.
Have fun with the new toy. I love mine.

That sounds about right. The only other thing I have is chains which I found are mandatory. Plus add another 5 or 6 hours moving snow. Where do you put it?
