New Bx tractors

I like the more compact non-foldable ROPS on my 2660 better.
I agree. The ROPS on my BX2360 is plenty high when mowing under trees. As far as folding the newer ROPS,it sticks out the back when folded. It should be designed to fold 180 degrees. When I had my BX25, and mowed with it I found the ROPS too high and when folded it stuck out the back and could catch on trees when turning,if you weren't careful. If Kubota wanted to add a folding ROPS to the BX tractors,I think they could have engineered something better than just using the one designed for the BX25.To me the height of the ROPS looks foolish on the BX 70 series tractors. The new ROPS is the main reason I would not want a 70 series BX.

They may have to do something to counter JD's new attachment systems for mower and FEL.

What is wrong with the way the loader currently comes off the BX?

Just went on the Kubota site; the "Build Your Own" option now has the 70 and D series posted.

Nothing is wrong with the current set up on the loader. Comes off and on easy enough for me.

I believe on the new setup the loader still goes on/off in the same manner. The difference is in the end of the loader arms, you can quick attach different implement directly onto the loader arms.

The few pictures of the snow blade I've seen, I haven't spotted any hydraulic angle. Really???

Nor have I but I would think that you could use the same hydro setup with power angle on the new quick hitch.

I think with the Kubota BX you have to remove 2 pins and on the JD 1 series you flip a latch, either is easy enough.

What I meant is on the Kubota BX the new and old loader arms attach the same way (the 2 pins), on the new 70 / D series, also from the bucket with the new quick hitch. I wasn't comparing the JD, sorry about the confusion.

I understood what you were saying I was just saying they both attach easily.

I surely would not want to support it in its current form, dealer chatter says they've had all kinds of adjustment problems with it. Kubota has also more or less held the line on pricing which is important on a BX being that the B20's are only marginally more expensive... but I to would like to see some kinda wiz bang feature to get the 100k+ people that own BX's to consider upgrading. There just has been no killer ugprade to get the guy with the BX2200's to make a move.

I was thinking they needed to do some top notch engineering and testing to get these perfected. Sounds like they still need work.

I like how the loader on the JD can be removed from the seat. I guess you drive off with the hoses connected.

All the fluid running out of those lines, for the operator that forgets, gives a whole new picture to, "nothing runs like a deere."

No doubt the John Deere has some nice features, but I am pretty happy with what I have.

I didn't like the loader usage part on the video either. Use the Kubota to break up the ground, then the Deere comes in and scoops it up. And you could tell the operator was purposely operating the loader incorrectly on the Kubota.

I'm very happy with my kubota as well. I wish the 3 pt stabilizers were not so clumsy but i haven't looked to see if anyones is better. I need to order some t handle ball locking pins and it should fix the problem

I got some stabilizer bars from hodge, I haven't put them on yet due to the weather, but I really think I am going to like them. I don't know if I can post a link, so just check Stabilworks.

Those are cool I'll mention them to my buddy for his b2400. On my m8540 they use a similar design but have a pin with a funny spring loaded clip that is impossible to put on with gloves, low light, or standing up. I just need to order something like these pins. http://innovative-components.knobso...ocking-pins-f?&bc=100|3001135|3001348|3001111

Are you talking about a hair pin clip? My 4240 has one each stabilzer to lock the pin in. I don't use them.
