I am a newbie and have been looking into buying a BX1500, 1800 or 2200. I was looking at Carver's website, and they say they are sold out of BX1800 and BX2200's and will not get more until fall, when the new models come out? Do tractors change each year? Does anyone know if Kubota is coming out with revised models and what changes might be in the works? I was planning on buying before the end of August, but would consider waiting if new models are coming out.

Wecome to the forum, I'm still a "newbie" too.

Don't know of any major changes. I know a few people have been asking the same question. The BX seems to be in short supply in my area too. Last time I looked my dealer only had one left. Neat little machine. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hi,

On July 1st, I was approved for the zero percent on a Kubota BX2200. My dealer had sold all he had.

He did find one in Ohio...we are in PA. It will be delivered tomorrow. So if your dealer is good he may be able to find one sooner than waiting for Kubota to start delivering new ones from the factory.

Now are there differences? There may be. For example, new bx tractors my all have the seat safety switch that shuts the engine down if you lift your butt off the seat. I don't find this an advantage and am happy to report that the one my dealer found for me [from another dealer] does not have this feature.

I think in the end, should you want to sell your bx, the purchase date and the hours on it will determine how much it is worth at that time...

i don't beleive any tractor manufacture makes a major change without changing the model number. if u find one u like and it available buy it. if u keep waiting for the new improved model u will never get one /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif remember , sometimes new and improved is not always better. u make the decesion!!!

I was told by a Dealer there would be a few changes to the BX line.Maybe the 3- point hitch setup?

He said the biggest change would the numbers, going to a 30 series,BX1530,BX1830,BX2230.
