Loader New B3030, loader+mmm question

Hello all - am enjoying my new B3030. It came with an LA403 loader and RCK60-30B mowing deck. I'm a Kubota newbie and trying to understand why the mowing deck lowers when I lower the 3-point hitch. According to the mower manual I should be resetting the loader stopper pin to hold the mowing deck up when doing work with the loader or 3-point hitch. However I can't see anything on the tractor that would let me "Remove the loader stopper pin from the stay and reinstall it in the holes of mower deck, as shown". I am wondering if something may have been left off during assembly or whether I am blind. I hope the attached photo may provide clues - thanks in advance for any advice!

I have a similar setup, B7800 and with the same deck.

When I want to use the mower, I just pull the hairpin cotters and put the two pins in the little tool container under the seat. Then I just reinstall them when I want the mower to stay up.

There may be some nifty place to store them on the mower or on the underbelly, but it seems to me more convenient to just grab them out of the little tool box.
