Hello to everyone! I joined the forum in hopes of getting some help from people much more experienced than me in harvesting corn. I am the manager of Missouri Meerschaum Co. in Washington, MO. We have been making corn cob pipes since 1869. We are having many problems this year with our old shelling equipment, and I have got to find a better way to harvest the corn, shell it and keep the cob. Don't want to get too long-winded here. Just wanted to introduce myself. I have no background in farming, and this has proved to be the hardest and most frustrating part of running the company. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give. I will post a more detailed message in the next few days describing the problems.
