Not real familiar with the electric lift on mower decks, but I do have one on my UTV dump bed, and they seem to be a pretty simple and reliable design, even if sourced from china. (what isn't these days)
I would definitely agree with the oil drain on 2/25/3K series, they were out to lunch on this design. At least drill a hole and point the drain downwards, or something! It'll be interesting to see if this particular engineering marvel was addressed in the re-design.
I really liked the GT3200's I've owned, I'm tempted to go and buy a low-hour one to keep since they will be no more. Loved the diff lock. Of course, I say the same thing about getting another 1782.....(sigh)!
And EuropaChris - 41 is far from old....!
