Before I bought my new 21 HP Kubota B7510HST with LA302 FEL last May ($12,600 plus tax), I agonized over buying a Yanmar 1700 (21HP engine, 17HP on the PTO). I could have made a deal for that tractor with a Koyker FEL for about $7500 with one of my local grey market tractor dealers. It has a standard U.S. 3-pt hitch so getting implements to fit is no problem.
Check the Yanmar forum on TBN for more info on these neat tractors. These imports usually have under 1000 hours on the engine clock and are 20-25 years old. You can find spare parts for these Yanmars pretty easily on the Web. Folks who own these tractors generally are satisfied with their purchase as far as I can tell from reading the postings in that forum.
