Need Pricing help: Deere 5320 with loader

Hi Guys,

I'm doing a flip here and am looking for a good price point for the following machine: 2004 John Deere 5320 4x4 425 hours with 541 loader, quick attach fork set and Deere 390 8' flail mower. Machine is in almost flawless condition, and it is just serviced. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Pat

The 5x10 and 5x20 series are great tractors. I'd guess somewhere a little north of 20k for what you described with an open station. What is the asking price? Collar shift, sync shuttle, or power reverser?

It's a power reverser, open station. I havent determined an asking price yet, I'm going to sit on it and run some numbers first. To clarify, I purchased it already, and am looking for some realistic numbers for resale.

That explains the "flip" part of your post. I didn't get that at first. The power reverser helps to put you in the upper end of the selling prices. The flail mower might be better sold seperately. Not every one wants a flail mower. Guys that do proabably already have a tractor to run it with.

Have you checked usual places like tractorhouse, machinefinder, etc... for some comparable asking prices? I'd expect a similar tractor to be priced somewhere close to 25k. The flail might get you a couple grand more on its own.

That pretty much right on with what I was thinking. If I could get 27k out of the package I'd be a happy camper. I was thinking of selling the flail separate like you said! We'll see what happens, I appreciate the advice! -P
