I need a source or idea of the cost of a replacement engine (new/remanufactured) for a Caterpillar 416C Backhoe Loader. Located in Georgia.

Try Adelmans truck parts in canton oh....They get lots of new diesel engines....factory overstock etc....They always advertise perkins............1 800 643-2001 or 1 800 543 2001 Phone #s may not be right...I'm doing this from memory.....you might have to call information........Tom

Try either "Parts" or "Dismantled "Machines". You could try your local Cat delaer also.

That's a fairly new machine you have there cwave. You want to get a good rebuild for it. I'd check out the cat dealer and compare with others. Be sure to give everyone all the numbers off the plate. Those Perkins engines are built in a lot of different grades I believe.

I have a engine for your backhoe. Rebuilt out of a new backhoe when it had about 100hrs on it. My father had it rebuilt years ago and has been in his garage ever since. All it needs on it is the alternator and the fan and it is ready to crank. HAVE ALL THE INFO ON THE REBUILD AND WHAT WAS DONE TO THE ENGINE.
