Need Help!

We just got a Wessex CRX 320. Pulling it behind a New Holland Workmaster 70. Can only mow about 3-5 min before the tractor idles down, almost like it goes into limp mode or something. The gauges don’t read hot but I also can’t read the screen to see what code it shows. Anyone have any ideas what’s causing the issue and possibly how to fix it?

Love those beautiful roller mowers for good turf. Now all you need is a Wessex paddock cleaner to pick up the clippings.

Check the alternator belt for proper tension and check the battery cables to be sure they are tight.
If you are not generating enough amperage and voltage to light up your dashboard that is the first
thing I would suspect is wrong.

IMHO you should check your fuel line as you could have a lump of sludge
before your filter and you have enough fuel to run for a few minutes then
kaput no go and no pressure on lump of sludge and fuel line is full again
and away you go for a few minutes the back to the same o crap no go
