need help

i have a gc2310 i bought last yr was mowing this past summer when it quit got it back to the barn could not find any wires loose or broken
had to pypass all the safety to get it to start but now i have to push the fuel shutoff plunger to shut it down gone over everything and cant find
anything wrong

Not sure what brand you have. Yanmar has a GC Series and so does Mitsubishi. Is it one of those?

Did you buy it new last year? If you did, obviously should have the dealer handle it. I'm guessing it wasn't a new purchase though.
