Need help with winch installation

I installed a winch on my RTV500, the same setup at Beretta96man. I got everything bolted up and wires run, however, I'm not sure which *key on hot wire* to splice into. Instructions call for you to join the remote control rocker switch's red wire and the rocker switch red wire into the red wire on the key switch. I'm not comfortable cutting the factory ignition wire to do this. Plus I'm really not sure which wire it is. I do see a red wire coming from the ignition but its in a harness tied into numerous other wires. Not the easiest thing to do IMO.

How has everyone else tied in the rocker switch wires on your winches?

I may have it figured out. Even though I kept referring to Berretta96man's post on his installation, I guess I read through number 8 a little fast. If I understood his procedure correctly, I did the same. Now I have to pick up a male end bullet style connector and plug up the switch wire, Then wind the the rope on and I'm done.
