need help with fuel filter 3020

I have a jd 3020 gas tractor.
Where is the fuel filter located?
I can not find an in-line or any other filter between the gas tank and the fuel pump.

jdparts shows the filter (item 3) under a clamp (item 2), and here is a schematic of how it fits.
Hope it helps locate it.

Filter you're showing is for a diesel only. Gasoline filter would be in carburetor. (MARVEL-SCHEBLER) R39874 FILTER 1 (B) (MODEL USX-31 AND MODEL USX-36) (NLA) and this AR13019 STRAINER on a Zenith carb.
