Need Help: Weird hole under the gearbox of my 360 LONGTRACT DTC Tractor

Hi.. I am having a big problem with a 2002 LONGTRAC 360 DTC tractor. Underneath the gearbox of the Tractor there seems to be a 12 mm hole without any threads for any screws. Some Fluid seems to be leaking from the hole... I have attached 2 pictures of the hole. Can someone please help.. I need to know how to clog this and with what? There is nothing on it in the manual.

Looks like a open drain hole to let water and leaking oil (engine and tran) out so no built up.

Google "threadless 12mm pressure plug". An expandable plug is all that I can think must have been there? Can't be a vent or overflow since it's on the bottom of the trans case.

I don't think you want to plug it. I think it's there to let water that condenses in the bell-housing and oil that gets past the rear seal have a place to escap, like ozley described. Plug it and you may rust up your clutch or contaminate it with oil. I'd just poke a piece of wire in there and make sure it isn't clogged whenever you do your regular maintenance on the machine.
