Need help researching...

I am seriously considering the purchase of a '96 model MF-1230. However, I'm getting conflicting info on the engine size. The person selling says it's 30 hp, while a local dealer says it is 27 hp, but pretty much everything I'm finding says it's 25 hp.

Could someone settle this for me? The seller says it's a '96 1230 w/hydro. The s/n is E34202 if that would help.

it has 24.3 gross hp, 23.7 net hp and 19.6 PTO hp. Gross hp is power output of bare engine (no radiator, no hyd pumps, etc..., Net hp is engine output as it is installed on the engine, PTO hp is power at the PTO shaft. All figures are appropriate ways of identifying hp as long as the hp rating states Gross, Net or PTO.
