NEED HELP!!! Branson 2810 waterpump.

Hey guys, my father has a 2006 I believe, Branson 2810 and it needs a waterpump. We have tried ordering one and everyone has giving us the runaround. I was told that they discontinued that engine and they can't get a new waterpump as they can't find a manufacturer for them.. Can anyone help me out.

If the housing is good, you can often send it to a water pump rebuilder. They come out as good as new.

And if Branson has really discontinued this pump, I think thy may be in violation of some obligations manufacturers or distributors have to support products for a certain length of time. It seems it is 10 years minimum, but I can't cite the code offhand. Of course on wear parts they ought to make money keeping parts like that in stock forever.

I think you might want to call Branson Corporate and find out directly if this part is truly out of production.
