Need Ford 1120 info

I found a Ford 1120 listed for sale in the classifieds on this site. A search of this site and the net using Google and Yahoo comes up with no information about any specs except that it appears to be 40hp. Any info about it would be appreciated.

BTW, this site is GREAT! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the reviews and comments on many of the forums.

I owned a ford 1120 for a number of years and it is not 40 hp
In fact I think it is only about 16 hp. Mine had 3 speed diff. and three forward gears. It weighted about 1300 lbs and was very small. I ran it for 7 years with no problems. I recently traded for a NH tc21d. What a difference, 21 ponies, hydrostat, 4 wheel drive and power steering. The 1120 has none of these.

Try this site. Great source of just what you are looking for. Gives all specs - even down to manufacture year based on serial #. Plus an owners forum for many brands, models!

Wow! Great site! It has a lot of information - especially enough to tell me the 1120 is a bit underpowered for my needs. (I have no idea how I figured this had 40hp! tractortips sez 12.5hp at the PTO.) Thanks to everyone for their help!
