Need Extension

I have a new 2015 Enduro XT3 GSX and just did my annual lube & maintenance to start the mowing season. The GSX has 2 zerk fittings on the steering gear. One is angled and the other is horizontal. The fittings are located beneath the battery just above the deck. I have a lever operated grease gun with a 12 inch hose. I cannot reach the fittings with the gun because there isn't room in the opening for the gun and my arm. Perhaps if I went on a diet. I took the easier way out and went to Tractor Supply today and bought a 36 inch rubber grease hose extension. I haven't tried it yet but thinkiy will work with no problem.

Don't you just love the way some things are engineered/designed. Its more than obvious that the designers never have to get to some of these locations. I've always wondered if they sit in their little cubicles and laugh about this.......
