Need B2910 info

Last week I bought a B2710 w/ FEL and 5' finsh mower for $9000.
I already had an older B2710. I bought the newer one because it had the FEL and it only had 265 hrs on it. My older B2710 has been used mainly for mowing with a 6' finish mower - works great. After owning the newer B2710 for a week - I love it. The FEL is great and it is so manuverable.
I'm gonna sell the older one - 385 hrs, turf tires, front weights, 5 or 6 ft FM if anyone is interesed?
The B2910 is supposed to handle a 7' finish mower according to Carver Equipment and I belive it would.
I think you can beat the price that they are asking.

My main concern is the HST unit. I've heard they can give trouble, and it's generally EXPENSIVE trouble. The salesman assured me that they do little work on them, and that they've sold about 10 HST's for every gearshift model. Do you think he's on the level?

Sounds like you got a great price!! Have you got any pictures?? Although a 2710 is smaller with less HP, you did good!!! Send pics!!!

I have had a B2910 since 2000. It is a great tractor.
Will handle the 6' mower with ease. I would think a B2910 with that size rear mower would need counterweights on the front.
Same with the snow blower.
Adding a FEL would be top on my list. The Kubota model that fits the B2910 is still available. It is same model as B7800.
I have a 6'6" snow blade on front of the tractor. Have no problems moving snow with it

The B2910 would have sold for about $15000 new in 2002. Price may be high, but they do hold their value.
If you have never used a HST tractor. You are in for a treat. They are great for mowing the lawn and snowblower work.

The 2710 is the same platform as the 2910 w/ 3 fewer HP (If I remember the 2910 is 30HP).
