The warranty is the Manufacturers warranty. The dealers contract to honor that warranty with Kioti. It is human nature to feel snubbed when someone buys a tractor from a distant dealer for a few less $$ then wants a closer dealer to do warranty work, but in the case of a dealer closing down, I would think the next closest dealer would want to pick up these customers! I would suggest that if after expaining your dilema to a nearby dealer, if you cant get the help you need, get in touch with Kioti and ask them to find you someone that will honor their warranty, your district manager should know the quality dealers in your area.
One thing we dealers need to remember, warranties run out but customer relationships can last a long time and may even result in additional, future sales. It amazes me that dealers will spend thousands on advertising, and then run off a potential customer that walks in the door with a problem he bought elsewhere... This will change, if not by Kioti's intervention, then by the process of natural selection...
