Need advice on using York Rake

I recently bought a YORK rake ( land pride actually) and while I'm well please I really don;t know a lot about using ti. Basically I atttach it drop it to the ground and go. The Results are not bad but I fell if I knew a bit more they could get better.

Are you using it for a new lawn? Does it have the wheel kit? They work very well for leveling and getting most of the rocks out of the way though you still have to pick them up at some point. Often you can angle the rake so they form a windrow. When doing the final grade if yours does not have the wheel kit you will need to have the tractor support the weight of the rake so the tines only engage an inch or so of soil. Excellent tool!
