Flail Mower Need advice on right cutting attachment

/ Need advice on right cutting attachment #41
I'm in the USA. The rotary brush cutters here tend to use large blades that are able to pivot when they strike a rock or stump, yet are still capable of chopping up 1" material or more depending on whether it's a light, medium or heavy duty cutter.

In Europe, I understand that they tend to use chains in the place of blades.

Don't know what you have available to choose from in your area, but mention as another potential option.

scootr started this thread on modifying a cutter to use chains. It has a lot of useful discussion. Brush Hog mods
