Hauling manure now, gotta cover and uncover a couple times a day, a regular tarp isn't going to cut it.
Suggestions??????

There are plenty of companies offering tarps made to the size that you need.

If you want to go beyond simple for ease of operation, check out those retractable tarps that the dump trucks use. I believe you can get those in motorized or non motorized versions.

What size trailer do you have? Do you have to cover it, or are you just being nice?

14' x 6.5'
it blows the manure everywhere. (if dry, if wet of course it sits there)
It should be covered. i wouldn't want to be behind me.
It's the right thing to do.

Harps tarps is the Best they custom made a tarp for my 16' dump with D rings at precisely where I wanted them to mate up with a stretched 1' rubber tie down.
Heavy duty and it was like $100.00
If you are doing a LOT fo tapring I would go with
http://www.donovan-ent.com/waste/hytower/hytower.html

It's a retractable system ( manual of powered ) around $300.00 and up again they custom make them.

I bought a grommet kit and heavy duty staple gun and cut standard size heavy duty tarps to fit my dump trailer. Put the grommets so I have 4 bungy cords pulling down each side.

Yeah, that's for sure!

You also don't want one of the badge brigade behind you either... ticket for littering AND having to pick up the spilled poo...

LoneCowboy,
I just got tarps delivered to me this week, so I can really help you out here.
I bought from Cover Me Tarps and Canopies
I bought-
2 of the 7'x20' 17oz canvas tarps and they are HEAVY- The 2 tarps shipped in the cardboard box were 37lbs. Price each was $63

Even the Drop Cloths were really darned heavy. I was thinking like a thin cotton for the painter drop clothes, no way these were even heavy not liket he 17oz tarps but still much heaver than I thought they would be.-

3 (5' x 15') 8oz Dropclothes - $9.95 each
2 (9' x 12') 8oz Dropclothes - $$14.95 each
These five drop clothes weighed in at 25lbs.

That 17oz canvas was heavy. They have some sales going on right now, on their main page look near the bottom for the sale items.

They were very easy to deal with, shipped my order when they said they would and once I get back to France and open up each one I will bet they will be perfect. These are serious tarps and great people to work with. I called them on the phone to place my order. If you call them make sure and tell them that the lady from France recomended them on TBN. I tried to tell them to advertise here.

One more thing for almost 60lbs of tarps the shipping I thought was reasonable at $27.46 from Pickens SC to Chicago Il. I had them shipped to my parents house. I'm here now visiting with them till I leave on Monday.
