Need a new Jack

i have the black craftman 3/3.5ton floor jack; the one that is usually packaged with the jack stands and sold as a special set. its about 10 years old, and has stood up to abuse well. it easilyy lifts the entire front of my cummins powered 4x4 dodges, and has done the "floor-jack-shuffle" with them many times

Yup, a 10YO Craftsman is a good jack...but those day's are gone now.

i recently bought a 3 ton at tractor supply. 99$ works great has peddle for quick lift or the handle pushes the pedal if the jack is way under a vehicle. i looked for a long time for a decent jack and this was the best deal i could find especially with the speedy lift.

Those are good jacks. We have one of them at the airport I work at that everyone uses. I actually went with a mechanic to pick it up at our local TSC about 7 years ago since I had a truck and they were in need of one. The only issue is sometimes the pedal gets in the way of low cars. It had a bolt to hold the pedal in and I took it out and welded a washer to it making the bolt like a wing nut. Had too because I could never find a metric wrench to fit it.
