My almost two year old HF Fischer mower jack quit. I gave it a great review last year and I am so disappointed. The jack casting is site specific and not available as a part from them. Because the jack failed and froze up, the whole well constructed unit is now a POS. For those uninformed, you can't go get a two ton bottle jack and retrofit unless you are an ace welder fab machinist. What a waste.

Isn't most of their stuff returnable ?

Proof that you don't need to be an ace welder fab ....

Lucky me..... Thanks to ZZYB6 for his offered repair. It ain't something I wanted to attempt or pay some one to fix up for me. But the update is, a full replacement from my local HF store. The mgr said for 60 bucks , which would sign me up for two year warranty, bring the old set up in and he had a new unit in the back room. I told him I would be back in ninety minutes. I put the new one together this afternoon and hope it lasts longer than the other. The unit is GREAT. The weak point is the un repairable unique jackbody. I am pleased, hopeful, and grateful.

I bought mine 7 years ago and haven't had an issue.

When I bought it I thought perhaps it was superfluous. Over time I have come to really appreciate it

My parents have the Pittsburgh and it's a POS.

I have the 750 lb Fischer mower lift and the locks on each side should keep the lift from falling if the pressure fails.
I've had mine for 8 yrs and use it about 4 times per year.

it is warranted for 2 years from date of purchase for defects...maybe more if you give them a good story---tractor supply can help if that's where you bought it...
