JD 3720 Thats unfortunate that they wont teach you small engines. Honda corp. has been donating a ton of engines to schools all you had to do was pay for the shipping, We got 8 twin cylinder honda's for $400
I had heard Briggs and Straton did this many years ago and i had called briggs about it and no luck. So this deal by Honda is a great deal and probably wont come around for a long time.
As far as budget cuts before we had the honda engines, we had a bunch of old engines that quit running that we would disassemble and reassemble and stick no money at all into them.
What CDE's do you compete in? I am currently at a hotel with my FFA Students for the Greenhand, 212 and 360 leadership conference.

You never know how much you sometimes touch & change a kid's life... here's some shots of one of my former students (in a Model Aviation class)... An RPI Aeronautical Engineering graduate, he now works in the Minneapolis area after several years in Alaska.
Stopped by last summer with his latest "hobby plane" and we did some "aerotouring" as he calls it.... The larger pic was when he was on a recent vacation in the Maldives... guess he rented that bird while he was there.
