This may be a tool to help start wire in to a Mig welder feeder that has run out of wire. For sure it has something to do with Mig wire.

inside of a wire welding torch handle,looks like tension adjustment screw.Bet if you remove that tape it would help

I think it's for stripping broken mig wire from the gun lead or mig wire feeder. That's why it's attached to a dead blow hammer. This wire has to be jerked out.

I've never seen anything like it here but It looks like something to hold a tig rod and used to feed the rod while tig welding. If it's not it could be :laughing: Nice pictures too :thumbsup:

Yep, Tig wire (stick) feeder for hand use.

Really helpful to pass the Aircraft test when you need a 6" (I think it was) solid bead with no disruptions in the bead pattern.

Called a Rod Handler made by Tweco.

Have to dig in the boxes a bit and find something else.

Really liked that adapter for the Vise Grips to the slide hammer. Had thought along similar lines but that makes it pretty easy, have to blatantly plagiarize that one :)

That's pretty cool. Never seen one or ever tried one. I might have to look into getting one :thumbsup:
