I am more accustomed to naming marine vessels than tera firma vehicles...I always preferred 'Hattie' (I,II,III etc and "the")...but I buy a pick-up truck one time that was called 'Leaping Lena'...
I would think that after operating a tractor for a while it would tend to name itself...or at least offer some hints...!

Now that the naming is open again, I thank Scotty for backing up my vote to call it Wile E. Kioti.
However if you want to call it Mighty Mouse, do so since many people have the same names, why not tractors.

I love this discussion and list of names. I like Wile E. Also loved the post about the guy who named his Ford, Henry and his Allis, Allice and Helen of Troy...
Bambi and Thumper were great ideas too.
I just bought an old Ford 1600. Ol' Blue is nice but already taken here. So is Henry. I'll need something different than those.
I'll be riding it around a bunch this month and get to know her.
Eventually I figure if I treat her right and listen close enough, she will tell me her name.
