Hi All,

I found the following 'part' on the ground after moving my TC to a different location on my property.

I am not 100% certain the part is off the TC but did not work on anything else vehicle or equipment wise that day.

I have done a 'belly crawl' as well as inspect engine compartment and see nothing that would give me a clue.

The part is solid steel with a hole and threads on one end.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...

It looks like something that limits the movement/range of something else... it reminds me of an old rubber 'doorstop', if it were made out of hard rubber, which you say that it's not.

Thank you very much for the response.

Initially I thought it was one of the 'hockey pucks' that resides between frame and stop on front frame that have a tendency to fall off. This is solid steel. I'm starting to wonder if it is some type of harmonic 'dampener' associated with the fan assembly???

I agree with Wagtail. Looks like a hard stop for either the front loader or the dump bed.

But on a closer look, the threads seem to have quite a bit of rust. I'm not sure if that happened recently.

It reminds me of a cam follower bearing that seen better days.

Are the threads SAE or Metric?

I thought it looked like an end weight off a sliding hammer

It's definitely been exposed to the elements for quite some time. Could it be an idler or tension pulley off some old belt driven implement? Some of the black residue on the rim kind of looks like my lathe pulleys.
