mystery oil inlet

On the top of the engine of my Kubota 2920, there is a oil inlet/filler cap ( right where it is supposed to be). Curiously, there is a second identical inlet cap on the lower right front of the engine. This location is not addressed in the owner's manual..... curious indeed. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Thats to put the oil in easier during oil changes my L3400 has the same set up though different engines.

Holy Cow! That was quick.... Thanks! That's kinda what I figured, however the top inlet is much easier to access on my tractor. Thanks again.

That engine is most likely used in zero turn mowers and other tractors or even RTV. With different configurations you need different fill access points.
