Actually, those last 2 pics look normal to me... it's all the rest that are upside down! (see Location :laughing.

I've been finding all sorts of mystery holes in my paddocks as of late, due to the horses lawning the areas. After some investigation, it turns out that this area used to be a Government WWI rifle range (1915 - 19) and these holes were situated where the 'butts' (target area) were. Also found out that the Government still has dibs on re-establishing the range if we ever go back to war with the Huns!
