My "Tube Box's"

Have you thought about using a pressure plug? You could attach it to the end of the tube so when you loosen up the wing nut and remove the plug the pipe holding the tools would come with it. You wouldn't have to worry about notches or pins. Plus if you have one on each side it would be water tight.

Neat idea.....Actually I thought about doing this on my B26,but i'm waiting to find some sort of heavy walled plastic conduit of the right size.I figure that way it wont rust.I measured my FEL upright support tube(s) and they are 4 7/16 ID.
I only plan on doing this to the upright support tubes, not the front FEL tube.I'd like to keep the loader lift capacity up to maximum.
I really like the spring loaded pin idea. digger2

Really nice work! Wish I could do something like that with mine but it's not built that way. Very clever and nice execution of the work !

Great idea, and excellent workmanship there, but other than really big screwdrivers, or maybe a long, straight prybar, or some big files, what else can you put in that "tool drawer"??
