My Ride-on Tracked dumper

Each spring is clamped by 2 x 1/2 bolts. This will allow me to finetune the suspension by removing or adding leaf springs. Each spring and wheel assembly is rated at approx 600 lbs so I can't imagine ever having 4,800 lbs on this thing. I plan to run 3 leafs on the rear where most of the weight will be and 1 or 2 springs on the front two axles. Later on if I have a problem with the clamping force of the two bolts, I can pin the springs. Here is a video.

I ordered 100 ft of 1/2 inch thick x 6inch wide conveyor belt today at $1.50 a ft.

Some pictures, not a lot of progress, spent good part of a day cutting out some bracing on the track frame that interfered with some road wheels. The joys of not working with plans.

I am just trying to follow things. Are you going with 2 tracks on each side because from the pictures it looks like the track would hit the frame above the wheels. Or are going than another upper wheel at the back end?

If I'm not mistaken, his drive wheel/sprocket should sit up there. None of the wheels that he has installed currently have any means to drive them. He may still install a carrier wheel or two on top in the center as well.
