That is, this has a mechanical feedback system. Building the farm implements at home is not a heavy / hard task unless you are a lazy person. Why pay much $$$$ for such simple objects.

...or unless you have better things to do with your time. In fact I've met a lot of people who are not lazy, and in fact unless I'm mistaken, not a one of them has crafted a 3-pt tiller in their (or their friend's) blacksmith shop! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif But congratulations to you for doing it!

Where (what?) is the application for a tiller to till around 'trees'? An orchard? Vineyard?
Normally if a tree plantation, tilling is not done unless the trees are small (less than 1" stem diam at ground). Otherwise, tilling is done where there are no trees that would shade the crop to be planted in the tilled soil.
Curious as to the application. I can see a rotary mower in place of the tiller, where the grass could be mowed up to and around a tree.
Really like to see some pics of a field trial. From the pic shown, it looks expensive but looks like it might work.

This is common tiller for vineyard/orchad. It tills around trees, to kill grass. This is not garden tiller.
Nomad's have hydrostatic drive, but can be with PTO shaft, too. Congrats!!!
Nomad, Italians made lot of this type machines, even a power harrows on same principle. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
