Thanks Chim. Last month I enclosed the porch with some sliders from craigs list. Half of it will be a new kitchen area.

This started out as a 1 rm 20x20 log cabin I bought 35 yrs. ago. I added on after retiring 4 yrs. ago. Now it's 28x38 with 8" walls and log siding Here's some inside pic's.

I know what you mean...downtown Newport is pretty much abandoned storefronts. If/when the Walmart in Derby gets built that should pretty much finish off what's left.
