Got to try these out yesterday, I miscalculated on the length. When I curl them down to level position I can't see the fork tips (doh). They stayed on though.

I am wanting some forks for my Kubota BX23. I don't need to lift anyting too heavy, just cut down trees and so forth. Thus, I don't want to spend to much money nor get those that are too difficult to get them on and off. The style you went with looks pretty good. Do you know about the weight capicity? Any problems with bending your bucket? Thanks for the post!

If I bend them I'm afraid of what else will go with them. They are 1" X 2" tubing welded to 1/2" X 2" flat bar. The bucket is only rated for approx. 700lbs. I made three of them even though I only had two on in the photos. I plan on using them to clean up the stumps and brush where I am making new lawn. See attachment. If these won't work I will probably build a grapple as there are tons of photos and ideas lately on this great forum. Its makes your head spin with all the great ideas and information you can get here.

They look better than my store bought clamp-ons, because they don't have stops that keep things from going into the bucket. I would prefer that mind did not have those stops when dealing with brush and small logs and such.

That one went over my head for a couple days... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif ... That sidewalk looks on the pink side in the photo, and I wondered if you chew a lot of bubble gum and turn it into sidewalks... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Finally sunk in that you were referring to blue bubble gum...at least I think I got it now... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Having three forks will be great for scooping up and holding the brush/brances and things. I have found if I can keep it on the forks, it dumps real nice when I get where I want to put the stuff.

Still, a grapple of some time in addition to three forks would be a great addition I would think.

Well my bubblegum welding held up but the 1" X 2" tubing can't cut it on the little Kioti. Back to the drawing board.

Time to visit www.paynesforks.com for a set of his really heafty one. I have the lightest ones on my BX and I love them. Lifting the 60" MMM onto a shelf, even moving an ATV for winter storage. I put the blower up on a shelf with them also.
