One picture shows it in summer mowing trim, the other ready to battle wintertime snow. It's a 2002 model, just rolled over to 915 hours. I wish I could say it's always this shiny but that isn't true.

Thanks, all, for the compliments. The JD 4210's are not very common, but my only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.

Yep, Deere bought the engines for all the 4x00 and 4x10 tractors. Still buys 'em for all the 2xxx and 3xxx series tractors. The new 4xxx series use a Deere built engine.
Deere builds great engines, but does not manufacture small (less the 140 c.i., I believe) engines of any sort.
