My 2014 Spring Garden

Here is the first pic. Everything for this year is planted. First 6 rows are corn (3 silver queen & 3 butter & sugar). Then 24 tomato plants - rest of that row is cucumbers. Then egg plant - rest of that row zucchini. Then bell peppers - rest of that row is also zucchini. Then Russett baking potatoes. Then Yukon Gold potatoes. Then red potatoes. Then 19 cantelope plants. Then lettuce. Then beets. Then green beans. Then carrots. Then broccoli. Then spinach.

Nice garden! Do you hand weed it or use a cultivator?

I'll be using my cultivator. I used the tractor to make the rows so there is ample room for the tractor and cultivator.

Looks very nice. Only one row in the fourth picture looks are crooked as mine do. I tend not to stretch out a twine when I am in a hurry. I tell myself my plants grow better if I am not so rigid of a gardener.

Wow, that looks like an abundant harvest! :thumbsup: What exactly are you growing there? Do you sell or just enjoy the crop yourself?
