This applies to class 8 trucks. However farm equipment has all sorts of different mounting patterns, mounting angles, ride heights, and two main different types of safety switches. This is one of the reasons finding seats for compact tractors is such a pain. Seats are so different on so many different pieces of equipment that it is a real challenge to get enough volume for the aftermarket companies to get enough volume to enter the market.

I bought a "universal" seat for my MF and while some of dozen the bolt holes were usable, I was seated way too low and forward to operate the tractor, even with with seat adjusted all the way up and back. I ended up having to fabricate a bracket for the seat. I think I paid $125 for the seat but, if I factor in my extra materials, labour and aggravation? Also, I find cheap seats don't have the same quality vinyl covering and they crack pretty quickly.
