muratori tiller grease fitting size on pto shaft

I was writing to ask if anyone would know the size of the grease fitting on a Muratori tiller fitting which is on the pto joint connection nearest the tractor shaft. I contacted Muratori and they were unable to determine the size unless they had the tillers serial number since the machine is older its either painted over or fell off. It must be some metric size I have tried 1/4 in which is too large M6 x 1 is too small.

If you have the old grease fitting - take it to O'Reileys or NAPA and match it up.

No old grease fitting - go to same or equal outlets and buy one of their multi packs. What you need should be in one of those.

They might have a multi pack with SAE and metric zerks.

I have a tool with all of the grease fitting sizes but it requires the fitting to insert in the tools hole. I don't think it has the male sizes to insert in the fitting hole but it might. There are soooo many different grease fittings.

You certainly hit the nail on the head - workinonit. My tractor with FEL, grapple and rear blade has three different grease fittings.

It's as though - nobody ever thinks of using the grease fittings that already exists. AH - new implement. We MUST create a new fitting for this implement.
