Multi Axis Drawbar?

Hi,

I have a pronovost dump trailer with a clevis/swivel hitch (pulled with a Kubota L2250 or M9000). When in use on flat terrain there are no issues, but the drawbar has started to bend the clevis/swivel hitch when going over rough and uneven terrain. Looking for a solution to prevent any further damage to the trailer hitch. Thank you in advance for your help!

How about a pintle or combination pintle/ball hitch. There are all sorts of variations out there.

Am I missing something or would a 3-pt mount drawbar solve this issue?

I rigged up a pintle hitch to pull my 8-ft wide wheel disc with the Mahindra 5525 tractor.

Works fine.

I think the pintle hitch or conversion to a ball and socket hitch would solve your problem. You have no rotational freedom with your current setup.

pull from the three point drawbar. two crossed axis pivots make a universal joint.

This appears to be a well thought out hitch
