My Kawasaki mule 550 with the industrial engine has never been a screamer, but lately its seems to have lost power. Its only 2 years old with 330 hours, but it seems it first began to lose some power when the dealer did the valve adjustment at 50 hours. Other than spark plug, is there anything elso to look for - can the dealer have adjusted the valves wrong?

It could be my imagination, maybe the machine's lack of power is just becoming more noticeable. I haven't had a chance to check the top speed, but it seems slower too, harder to get up steep inclines with weight in it, etc.

You'd probably get more responses if you posted this question in the ATV/UTV forum section on TBN.

I wouldn't think adjusting valves could cause your problem. I'd guess you would hear the valves clanking if they were adjusted improperly enough to cause loss of power.
