MT372 Tach/Hour Meter replacement options?

What are my options for replacing the dead tachometer/hour meter on my MT372? The cable is spinning fine, but the hour meter got stuck long ago, and the tach (which was running accurately) has finally died. Mitsu part number on original meter is 1007-5051-000, but I'd also be willing to install an after-market compatible meter.

Does anyone have experience with the diesel Tiny Tach as installed on this particular tractor/engine?

Other ideas?
